Being a nanny is a responsible role as they are in charge of a child’s safety, development, education and well-being. In addition, they perform light housekeeping duties such as prepare children’s meals, keep the house tidy, children’s laundry, children’s ironing etc. A nanny has to be able to multi-task and possess good time keeping.

If the children are at school and there are no children in their care, then housekeeping duties would be expected. This would include things like shopping, family laundry, family ironing, pick up dry cleaning, clean the house, administration for the family etc.
